Description: Stock Number: 1139, Year: 1968, Engine: W-45 390 HP, Exterior Color: Peruvian Silver, Interior Color: Black, Transmission: Hurst Dual Guage, Doors2 Dr. Hardtop, Stk. 1139 1968 Oldsmobile HurstNo muscle cars were more stylish, sophisticated, or brawnier than those from Oldsmobile. Its all about the numbers. 1968 was the first year for the Hurst Oldsmobile. A true unmolested survivor, originally shipped to Clark Oldsmobile in Charlotte NC on June 13, 1968. Only 9 H/Os were sent to NC dealerships. The factory order number for this 1968 W-45 Hurst Olds was L11505. Demmer Manufacturing performed the final conversion for Hurst and lists this car as # 211 out of 515 produced. As of this date this rare Oldsmobile has covered only 42,915 miles. Less than 600 have been since 1987. Even the rear brake shoes are original to the car! The options on this Hurst from the factory are: W-45 engine which produces 300hp and 500ft lbs of torque, factory air induction system, Hurst dual gate transmission, front disc brakes, posi-traction rear axle 3.90 to 1 ratio, power steering, power brakes, Super Stock II wheels, original Super Stock II spare tire/ wheel, wood steering wheel, wood dash trim, bucket seats, remote drivers mirror, soft ray shaded windshield, AM radio, recessed wipers, Hurst Olds emblems, and Hurst Olds name plate on dash. This is a rare chance to own a truly limited production muscle car that has been left the way it rolled out of the Lancing Demmer facility. How many do you see with all the original equipment in this condition? Original motor, transmission, rear end, interior, chrome, trim, lights, brakes, spare tire, etc, etc. Particular attention was taken to not disturb any major items in the detailing of the engine compartment. All the detailing was done to factory original level. This is a fantastic unmolested rare muscle car. It has never been out of NC and with the exception of the paint, which is the original Peruvian Silver and the engine detail, this H/O has not been restored. Included with the sale of this car are: the factory build sheet, trim tag sheet, special build instruction sheet (Rare), letter from Hurst Olds club to verify information, previous inspection statement showing mileage from 1987. Dont miss this opportunity to be part of the Hurst Heritage! Call 1-800-650-1055 for more information. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS" |
